Marrakech museum was on my bucket list, especially after pictures in google.. it looks very sophisticated and raw in Morrocan culture. Well, I think it depends on the pictures and how you make it. What surprised me that it is quite small compared to exhibitions in some gardens. Well, but the atmosphere doesn not lie.

Most beautiful Morrocan decorations, fountains and terraces gives this unique feeling of extremely exquisite history of this country. Is it worth visiting? I think yes, while you in Marrakech 😉

I was wearing this beautiful poplin stripy blouse from Zara, I don’t know if it is a tan orI look so “espaniol” in this blouse because people in streets were asking: “Spain?” 😂 In combination with Dior So Real sunglasses it makes such an amazing look, right? Karen Millen floral beach bag and wide Zara trousers. To look more traditional I was wearing pair of several morrocan shoes, I got in the market Jemaa El Fna.

Šis makiažas man labai patinka! ❤️ Beje puikiai tinka prie mano žaliai rudų akių 😉

Bronzinės odos efektui sukurti, be įdegio 😉, dar naudojau Paese Cosmetics matinę pudrą su arganu, spalvos numeris 7- labai tamsi, tinkama kaip skulptūravimo priemonė, būtent tam ir rinkausi tamsiausią atspalvį. Įsigyti ją ir daugiau labai gerų priemonių galima http://www.stiliauskodas.lt 😉

EN: Suntan lines and humidity outside- thats everyday’s life here in Marrakech. Being here for the second week I missed doing makeup post and inspiring makeups. I took the only one  MAC new summer shadow palette with me, I knew I would not do makeup much in this hummid weather. But it turned out into one I was using everyday. It has six cold shades from lightest to dark grey, and star of the show are two green colors- emerald green and khaki. Those two works so great with my greenish brown eye color!! I love it ❤️

I used emmerald green on my lids together with Pupa highlighter in the corners and makeup turned out into turqouis stones on my eyes! Great for Marrakech vibes.

For bronzing slash sculpting my face I used Paese Cosmetics matte powder with argan oil in shade 7 which is very dark color. I got this for the bronzing purpose because I really love its matt finish and really great pigmentation!

The first day I got to Marrakech, I was passing Le Jardin Secret while mingeling in the souk and thought ‘wow this looks inviting and so fancy’! After googling it, is it worth to go there and see it closer, it quikly became my must see garden. And here it comes! 😍

Before I came here I had different plan of things I will do in Marrakech, but that changed a little bit while resting, anyways I will need to come back here, I always wanted to travel in Morroco for several weeks. And, of course, I will come back to Marrakech, at least for shopping!

Le Jardin Secret is all about differences, this sophisticated and fancy garden is in the middle of souk, where shoes cost 10€ and people sleep on the piece of paper on the floor. Anyways, there are several of buildings, beauty of Morrocan architecture and heritage pieces, and tower to climb on the roof and see the panorama.

I couldn’t resist not to take pictures at the bathroom which has stunning pieces I would like to have in my home. For sure, Morroco is the best place to get statement interior decorations!

Le Jardin Majorelle. Masterpiece of Yves Saint Laurent himself – house in orintal blue color and  sophisticated garden in morrocan style. Quickly this blue color was named as Majorelle blue after this builing. Park was open to public from 1947 until now, and in 2008 Yves Saint Laurent was sacred here. Until now this place is very special, especially because so many tourits comes from France, and never empty. There is a line standing from early mornings, people are spending time in cafe or museum, walking around in the park or shopping at the boutique.

This house of blue reminds me of most popular Morrocan color combinations- blue and fuchia pink or red are mixed everywhere in Morrocan heritage pieces. Most popular accents in every house is painted in blue, mosaics are also very colorful. Love this bright bold color, thats why I dressed up in white. Knew there is going to be so strong background, didn’t wanted to disturbt this color.

YSL boutique and gallery in Marrakech.

YSL boutique. All items are made from Morrocan leather by YSL designs, I especially fell in live with those embroided blue shoes- I got familiar in the souk. This blue color is very popular in Morroco and no wonder that Yves Saint Laurent was using this indigo color in his fashion design collections. I guess he got quite inspired by Morrocan culture and heritage, invented this beautiful garden with the house, painted that house in blue color, of course. And now it became very popular tourists attraction.

Heritage Museum.

It is not allowed to take pictures in this museum, but it teaches people about very old traditions in Marrocan style and fashion. How people were crafting, decorating and wearing clothes, handmade home textiles and other stuff. And we use so many ideas and inspirations in fashion right now: embroideries, accessorising, carpeting, layering, patterns, etc.

I think in Morroco designers can get so many inspiring ideas for home decor, fashion design or even photography. I always wanted to visit Morroco for this inspiration, souks, camel rides, Shahrezad stories, architecture and unexpected adventures!

Regular day in Morroco. Wanderlust.

Well, Morroco was on my wishlist to visit for quite some time, as I remember for at least 12 years now. At lastly I got a chance to visit one of the main cultural and heritage capital Marrakech. Just because Marrakech doesn’t have a sea shore doesn’t mean you cannot have a great vacation here.

Weather in June is just perfect, especially when we missed the summer in Lithuania so much, in a middle of the day temperature rises up to 34degrees. Sunny with some breeze- great for suntanning on the rooftop.

In the afternoon when sun turns so hot it is great to visit some cafes or restaurants, have some mint tea or just rest in some parks. If you don’t want to mingle in the sun use this beautiful horse carriage. Of course, there are so many taxis stopping in the street offering a ride, help or anything…😂

One of the gratest things in Marrakech- never know whats around the corner, so try to not follow the native people or those who offers to guide – you will miss this surprising opportunity to really explore! Wanderlust.

I love summers and sunny days in the nature, sharing time with friend and great food. Fruits and croissants never go wrong, and bright colors makes a difference in food styling 🙂
