Purple eye makeup is all over the runway, fashion posts and makeup instas.. like I couldn’t resist to try this out on myself. I am brown eye- dark hair girl, so purple is very complimenting color for my makeup. Brown looks great with purple, for sure!

I got this purple inspiration from new Marc Jacobs beauty product launches, I was so excited to try on myself, especially when I have all the right products, with all right shades.. 😉

So for this makeup look I have used most of MAC Cosmetics products that I love and using very often. Only purple eyeshadows I was trying for the first time. In the package they do look very purple, but when I apply them, they have quite dark browny base. So I was laying shadow together with matt powder to keep it more lighter purple shade.

For this look I used eyeshadow in colour Dazzleshadow, MAC highlighter in Show Gold pink shade colour, Dior Pump’n’volume mascara and NYX Intense Butter Gloss in shade IBLG10, of course never forget to use any lip scrub before such a statement lip colour, I am using Mac one.

How to pick the right highlighter? For this purple shiny glittery look I used the one with pink undertone. But for more natural looks I usually go for the one that is in my hand Soft&Gentle shade, the last one Mineral is a bit lighter. I have swatched them so you probably can see which one is with pink undertone, in the middle we have Soft&Gentle and last one is Mineral.

So embrase your look with color like this! Purple is so on top in makeup right now, I believe everyone should have at least a try! Autumn is perfect for this type of makeups, darker colors and… soon, Halloween makeups will take place! 😍

Oh my Glow!!! MAC iridescent luminizer.

Oh this tempting MAC Show Gold highlighter! I know, I know.. me too, can’t stop staring at it’s iridescence in million shades.. Extra Dimension Skinfinish highlighter comes in 4 shades, mine is mix of purple and gold. I already feel like a queen laying in the sun, shining enough to get everyone blind around me… – perfect scenario!😂

Just playing around with some MAC novelties, came across with some summer ready makeup look. Combining what I love the most- red lips and bronzy eyes, but in some different shades this time. I used Manhattan Eyemazing eyeshadow creme as a liner on my eyes, loving this redish gold tone together with MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolor in coral red shade (Quite the Standout). And the star of the show was this iridescent MAC highlighter which gives a golden glow and purple-pink tone. You might not use it for everyday go-to-work makeup but on some occasions, friday nights out or cool casual days- I swear you won’t leave unnoticed! 😉

Year of 2016! It has been such a journey.

Starting with my hair colour trip, while I was searching for the best moments of 2016, I found out that I was red coloured hair at the beginning of 2016, which was surprising even for me! I thought it was two years ago, how fast it flow by… My hair had such a challenging year: red, brown, greyish brown, blonde and brown again.. WOW! Thats why I cut them at the end of the year, for the fresh start in 2017.

Travel, travel, travel.. I do not remember the year like this, I was exploring the world, had so much fun, visited so many cities I have never been….It was amazing. Trip to Italy, Rome, walking around those tiny streets, visiting Vatican city- I cannot think about the better start of spring. I always wanted to explore Italy, especially going by trains to Neaples and Salerno, seeing around Amalfi coast, feeling that Italian spirit and heritage.

Paris in summer is completely different than in early spring, even known June was still quite chill and rainy. But traveling with my lovely girlfriends makes everything so fantastic! Thank you, loves for this trip 🙂 Paris trip was all about fashion, style, photography and shopping. Then in the end of summer with my other lovely girlfriends we attended Rihanna’s concert in Warsaw- so much fun, so many great memories!

Dubai and Abu Dhabi. I could still write the whole post about this trip and how wonderful it was.. I realised that some of the trips I don’t even appreciate enough when I am traveling, but when time passes I live those memories again and realise how good this was. Did that ever happened to you? Well, this trip was adventurous and very surprising, I was so excited being there, everything around was just too much to handle, so beautiful, grandeur and sophisticated.. Especially Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque led me to the tears..

South France was the most spontaneous trip I had, it took me less than 10 minutes to decide on this 🙂 And of course I will come back there soon, I saw only few beautiful cities Nice, Cannes and Monaco, but there are plenty of other places to visit. I feel that this trip has changed something in me, I don’t know what exactly, but somehow I felt more free and happy.

For new years I always wanted to celebrate somewhere else than Lithuania, its always miserable here so Cyprus look like a great place. Warmth and sunny days has never went wrong on any occasions, so now I know that even Christmas I would like to spend somewhere else 🙂

Collaborations and blogger events I was attending in 2016 was phenomenal, I have learned so much, met so many great people, got to know other bloggers, had so much fun and so many cocktails 🙂 NYX first store opening, Dior Skyline makeup collection review, Fashion Injection and so much more! I hope 2017 will bring me even more joy and opportunities. I am so thankful and happy to have all this great experiences, support and great friendships. Happy 2017 to all of you!! XOXO
