Recently I fell in love with the shirt off-shoulder trend so much, could’t resist to wear it on my own 🙂 So feminine, so stylish and screams- VACAY!

This beautiful oversized blue stripe shirt with pearls I got from Zara, immediately knew I would wear them off-shoulders. It goes perfectly with my Mango wide stripy trousers. Straw hat is the season’s must have, hands down, accessory that must be in everyone’s closet, even if you are not going near the sea, doesn’t matter. Lets fool them into thinking that you are, right? Mine is from Lindex– minimal and preppy style.

When I am going on vacation, I always tend to wear sneakers, that is my comfortable option. And it doesn’t have to be boring “comfortable option”, like Tamaris white sneakers, embroidered with beautiful minimal flowers are so cute!

At lastly, when I think about the vacation outfits, it always mix and match, never try to overpack or take stuff I am not sure I will wear. So usually I fit into small cabin baggage, which weight less then one kilo! That such a smart deal from Rimowa luggages- small, lightweight, stylish, compact, coral red and very strong.

Last, but not least, my tip for lonely-travellers who loves to travel alone- great book. I guess you already know that, but have forgotten about it and turned into Instagram maniac 😀 Time spent in airports waiting for departures could be spent to learn something new or just relax reading a great book- time killer 😉

Green Bali. Indonesian stories.

Processed with VSCO with c1 presetProcessed with VSCO with c1 presetProcessed with VSCO with c1 preset

LT: Indonezija.

After a week at work, I need to check my photo library to assure I have been on vacation, otherwise, I feel this didn’t even happen. After visiting Bali island, I wish I had more days to come back to Java, I feel I have left there so many things unnoticed. In Bali people are so OK to this huge flow of tourists every day, they do not even taking pictures together, like in Yogyakarta 🙂 Anyways, nature is so amazing in here, I haven’t seen that much greenery anywhere else. Especially in east of the island, I had a luxury to look around while driving.

These boats above are prepared to float to Gili islands, of course, I got an invitation to get there. Maybe next time, I was swinging enough in planes 🙂

Tiesa? 🙂

Atgaudama kvapą pačiame kalno viršuje sveikinu vietinį, nešiną žolės pilnais nasčiais, basomis įveikusį “mano kryžiaus kelą”… Aš apšalusi, o jis man šypsosi 🙂

People living from agriculture and, of course, tourism. But anyways, rice fields stretching all over the island, like this I was “working” at 🙂 On the other side rice fields finish with young coconut juice, that is why I must have to get there! Wet grass, not many of the stairs left, climbing by hands, all in dirt, but I made it! Happy to be on top, and local worker smiles to me- he climb bare foot and with full of grass bamboo yoke on his shoulders. Oh well..

Tirta Gangga, Bali. Indonesian stories.

Yes, that is the most beautiful place I have ever seen 😉 Tirta Gangga was on my list while visiting Bali, even know it was quite far away to get to. It is opposite site of other places I wanted to see, so I am glad Golden Tours have aggreed to get me there. And it was so worth it!

Tirta Gangga means water pallace for Gangga, who is one of hindu gods. On the hill there is a temple and fresh spring water pool, where people comes to wash their sins.

Beautiful pools with fishes looks amazing. Standing on the stones made me feel like godess walking on the water. Such a pleasure to spend time there, swiming in fresh waters, meditate or feed fishes. Especially, traveling to that side of Bali made me see completely different side of the island. There are beautiful beaches with Gili island on horizon, palm trees and rice fields on the hills, temples on the highest mountains, much less tourists and beautiful panoramic views. Everything you need for a different day in Bali. 😌

My look of the day: Missguided maxi shirt dress, Dior So Real sunglasses, Kenzo wallet on chain, Lindex golden sandals.

Water water everywhere… green water pools in Water Castle, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Sultan builded this castle for his own pleasure and, of course, his wives to spend time with. Or sneak peak from the balcony from above 😂

Anyways, this is not used as a living part anymore, it became heritage and tourists attraction. Which is amazing, just to see how huge this pleasure area is 😉

When you have what you need. Indonesia stories.

EN: When you have just what you need. I always heard this about asian people- they do not live for things, especially these in villages. Well, I can not say the same about new generation or people who lives in capitals more modern lifes. Indonesian people loves to live like that, they don’t think about moving somewhere else. And why should they- that is the real joy of life, even though they say it is hard to find a job. I have been visiting some of the authentic homes in Yogyakarta, and it was an amazing experience.

Just in time, I was talking about gratitude and how we complicate our lives, I finally get there and my filosophy goes to another level.

This is me and… me after many years! 😂 Such a lovely and welcoming lady.

EN: And just when you think you have enough, it is all blown away by vulcano eruption. Merupi vulcano is still active and after last eruption seven years ago, people are not afraid to get back to their homes, even if it is not allowed.

Year of 2016! It has been such a journey.

2016010331445468-1

Starting with my hair colour trip, while I was searching for the best moments of 2016, I found out that I was red coloured hair at the beginning of 2016, which was surprising even for me! I thought it was two years ago, how fast it flow by… My hair had such a challenging year: red, brown, greyish brown, blonde and brown again.. WOW! Thats why I cut them at the end of the year, for the fresh start in 2017.

Travel, travel, travel.. I do not remember the year like this, I was exploring the world, had so much fun, visited so many cities I have never been….It was amazing. Trip to Italy, Rome, walking around those tiny streets, visiting Vatican city- I cannot think about the better start of spring. I always wanted to explore Italy, especially going by trains to Neaples and Salerno, seeing around Amalfi coast, feeling that Italian spirit and heritage.

Paris in summer is completely different than in early spring, even known June was still quite chill and rainy. But traveling with my lovely girlfriends makes everything so fantastic! Thank you, loves for this trip 🙂 Paris trip was all about fashion, style, photography and shopping. Then in the end of summer with my other lovely girlfriends we attended Rihanna’s concert in Warsaw- so much fun, so many great memories!

Dubai and Abu Dhabi. I could still write the whole post about this trip and how wonderful it was.. I realised that some of the trips I don’t even appreciate enough when I am traveling, but when time passes I live those memories again and realise how good this was. Did that ever happened to you? Well, this trip was adventurous and very surprising, I was so excited being there, everything around was just too much to handle, so beautiful, grandeur and sophisticated.. Especially Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque led me to the tears..

South France was the most spontaneous trip I had, it took me less than 10 minutes to decide on this 🙂 And of course I will come back there soon, I saw only few beautiful cities Nice, Cannes and Monaco, but there are plenty of other places to visit. I feel that this trip has changed something in me, I don’t know what exactly, but somehow I felt more free and happy.

For new years I always wanted to celebrate somewhere else than Lithuania, its always miserable here so Cyprus look like a great place. Warmth and sunny days has never went wrong on any occasions, so now I know that even Christmas I would like to spend somewhere else 🙂

Collaborations and blogger events I was attending in 2016 was phenomenal, I have learned so much, met so many great people, got to know other bloggers, had so much fun and so many cocktails 🙂 NYX first store opening, Dior Skyline makeup collection review, Fashion Injection and so much more! I hope 2017 will bring me even more joy and opportunities. I am so thankful and happy to have all this great experiences, support and great friendships. Happy 2017 to all of you!! XOXO

My trip to Monaco started early in the morning, well, not that early- girl need a beauty sleep, right? 🙂 And after 20 minutes I was standing in Monaco Ville waiting for the bus to travel around the city. I went to Jardin Exotique, first, and while traveling I saw such a pretty panorama of the city, all the yachts and boats, such a calming view…

After spending there some time I got on the bus and went to see Monte Carlo Casino, I guess one of the most popular in the world and some shopping centres, as well. There were the whole Christmas shopping village for brands like Chanel, Hermes or Gucci, no wonder why french people walks around with orange Hermes boxes… Gifts for everyone! 😀

Next to the shopping area I stopped at Starbucks which is located in the most beautiful place just on the sea shore. Such a lavish place to have a cup of coffee. I spent the half day walking around and traveling with busses was very easy, as well.

I won’t lie to you- I fell in love with this city, it is so beautiful, fancy, of course, and has such a vibe that I can’t explain. Even know, christmas decorations are fake, but weather was so sunny- I was walking around just wearing a blouse in December, almost. Really strange feeling, but still I felt Christmas is coming soon.

My outfit for Monaco: stripy blouse Zara, flared jeans Lindex, sparkly bag Stradivarius, white sole platforms Topshop, sunglasses Dior So Real, Lipstick Dior Matte, watch DKNY.

Travel to Dubai. Things to know.

When you travel to Dubai there are few things that you need to know. Use TAXI– taxi in Dubai is really cheap, it is even cheaper and more comfortable than renting a car. Imagine renting a car and leaving it in the sun, after you come back inside is so hot- you can’t barely touch anything.. So when you get in taxi it is always conditioned, you won’t have problems finding anything, or even they can advice you where is the perfect beach. What comes to taxi price it is very cheap, comparing the price from Airport to Jumeirah Palm Hotel, which is totally opposite side (about 60-70km) you would pay around 100 dirhams – 25 euros (4 dirhams= 1 euro). Is there any cheaper? In Paris, for example from CDG to city center or Eiffel tower is about 80 euros!!! As well, they do not have any taxes for cars or roads and very good price level that is why you won’t see small and cheap cars in the roads. Most loved are Toyota, Nissan, Land Rovers and some american models, all huge cruiser type cars. Also if you want to drive the roads you must not forget to keep your foot on speed- there is minimum speed signs and everyone tend to drive a little bit faster then allowed.

Even know that petrol is cheaper in Dubai than drinking water- 1.75 dirhams for 1 litre of gasoline. But SHOPPING for clothes, shoes are more expensive, when you compare prices to Europe. For example 145 dirhams for Zara blouse and 29 euros back in Lithuania. If you want to shop here I already can tell do not expect too much, items are a little bit more arabic style with a lot of embroidery, sparkles, bright colors, crystals, very long tunics, not much of sexy, open shoulders or cropped options. What it comes to high end fashion you can find here anything you have ever seen in magazines, when in Europe things sells out in seconds, here it seems no one is interested in those pieces.

FOOD, food, food. It is amazing to have arabian food buffet, I have enjoyed it so much. But there was hard to find these type of deals, unless you take all inclusive hotel type. Still when I had it I enjoyed it at the fullest, so many different dishes, masala, mixture of indian and arabian tastes. Amazing! 🙂 For cheaper option there are many chinese restaurants where main course price differs from 20-25 to 80 dirhams. And it is always full of people an very delicious!

TOURS. I have got my tours in Viator App, found them in Tripadviros.com and when I bought the tickets it transferred me to this app, which i really enjoyed. there were no need to print vouchers out, only show the barcode. What I got was Red Dunes Safari  “Hop inside a comfortable 4×4 and cruise to the towering orange-red dunes of the Lahbab region”. It costs about 40 euros and they they pick you up from the hotel and drop off after 5 hours of riding, BBQ dinner, performances and arabian experience. I got to perform in two shows, OMG why they always pick me from hundreds of people in there?! 😀 My blog post.(press the link to see more)

Underwater Aquarium one of two aquariums in Dubai, pity I didn’t know they were two, maybe the other one was bigger. But still this was very great experience, especially for families. It is located in Dubai Shopping Mall, so you can shop later. Price 30 euros and my blog post.

Burj Khalifa at the top entrance ticket cost 35 euros and you will never forget this experience. One thing I missed I did’t see Palm Island, because weather is so humid you can’t see far away. My experience in blog post.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi left me with no words. I was reading a lot about this one.. but when you see it, it is unbelievable, very beautiful, magnificent. Spent whole day in Abu Dhabi is great experience itself, it is different from Dubai, looks even more sophisticated and has more heritage, well it is a capital of UAE. Dubai is the new city, built in 20 something years, so it doesn’t have much museums or even oldtown. My blog post.

Gold, spices and leather Souks. Located in Deira part of Dubai, it is quite scary to mingle around when you are alone, everyone is offering you forbidden goods, they just following you everywhere you go, so it is better to take some guide tour for this. I did’t spent much time there, they scared the hell out of me 😀

Abu Dhabi tour. It is a must to visit this city, and see famous parts of it. Have you seen Sex and the City or Fast and Furious? Well, they were filmed in here. In Sex and the City hotel Emirates Palace you can book a cup of coffee which is the cheapest way to get to hotel area and look around. Price for cup of coffee is 300 dirhams for two people- around 75 euros, and it is served with real gold flakes on top 🙂 Yummy!

BEACHES. Everyone gets to Burj Al Arab beach as soon as they get to Dubai, but I would’t go there for suntaning, it is public beach with millions of men and when you look around there are no women, not even tourists 🙂 So I tend to go other direction to Marina Beach, next to Hilton hotel with is much safer and there are guards who do not let anyone suspicious in. But it is free public beach as well. And because Jumeirah beach park was closed under construction, taxi driver took me to other family beach Al Mamzar which was calm and also surrounded by skyscrapers. And last but not least Abu Dhabi beach with wooden boats of Arabian sea and my blog post.

Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

Lay back for million of pictures from Grand Mosque from Abhu Dabhi. Mosque was finished about 7 years ago, it took 10 year to plan and construct and 11 years to build. Just because UAE feels so safe and never had threats they never thought of inventing security posts, only fews months ago.

Mosque columns covered in real gold, floors are marble and men prayer hall is covered in handmade carpet, which was made by more than thousand ladies working for two years.

Woman has so many rules to get into mosque, first to cover their hair, than long sleves and no naked legs. I was wearing my most arabic outfit for the whole trip 🙂 My own design long silky dress, Jean Paul Gaultier maxi kimono shawl, Lindex scarf, rose gold sunglasses, Kenzo crossbody bag, H&M jewellery and bracelet and NYX cosmetics lipstick in color Maccaron.
